An Oklahoma family wants answers after their loved one died from his injuries suffered during a hit-and-run.
A Silver Alert was first issued for 74-year-old Ermol Williams before police found him on Highway 75 and took him to the hospital. Kindall Feeback says her uncle Ermol would walk to a nearby QuikTrip every day for a snack but on May 8th, he didn't come home.
"He just comes right back, but he left and didn't come back," said Feeback.
A Silver Alert was issued for Williams that evening, but on May 9th police called the family to tell them Williams was at a hospital after being hit by a vehicle in the middle of the night on Highway 75.
"It just makes us all feel really sad, and if they would have stayed with him we would have a different feeling about it but they just hit him and left," she said.
Feeback says Williams had several broken bones, as well as had two strokes and a heart attack while in the hospital. He passed away on May 13th.
"We want justice for my uncle because he didn't make it, and it was just a cruel thing he was always a sweet man and we want justice to be served," she said.
Feeback says the only thing police know is that Williams might have been hit by a Chevy, and she says the family wants anyone who might know anything to come forward.
"We just want answers, we want to know who hit him, and it's just unthinkable to leave someone if you hit them, you know," she said.
If you have any information, the family asks that you contact the Tulsa Police Department.
