Owasso Road Widening Project In Progress, Impacting Neighborhood

The widening of North Garnett Road in Owasso is making progress.

The entrance to an Owasso neighborhood is changing as crews work on a construction project on Garnett Road.

The 99th Street North entrance into the Bailey Ranch Subdivision in Owasso is back open, but now the 100th street entrance is blocked off as crews continue to work on a widening project on Garnett Road.

The $9.1 million project will widen Garnett in this area to four lanes in each direction. Crews have already finished work on a bridge and are moving northward on Garnett Road.

The entire project is set to wrap up in August.
