18-Year-Old Woman Killed After Crashing Into Power Pole In Midtown Tulsa, Police Say

An 18-year-old woman is dead after a crash near 31st and Sheridan, Tulsa Police said.

Police said Kaylesha Houston crashed into a power pole around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators said it appears the driver was going about 70 miles per hour when she crashed. The crash knocked out power to some PSO customers in the area.

Police also said 31st Street is closed in both directions Tuesday evening and ask drivers to avoid the area.
