The City of Tulsa's utility billing is returning to normal, months after hackers attacked city computer systems with ransomware.
Customers will receive a yellow slip in the mail with their next bill indicating that late fees have resumed.
The ransomware attack in May led to some bills being delayed and cutoffs were put off, but all of that is now coming to an end.
The yellow sheet of paper is not a cut-off notice, but instead, just an explanation of the city's return to normal service.
If your account is subject to cut-off, a separate orange slip will be included with the bill.
For those in need of assistance with their bill, there are a few options available. Customers can call 311 to set up a payment arrangement, or 211 for financial assistance.
Those in need may also qualify for help with their utility bill under the Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
Customers can pay their utility bills online, by phone, in-person or at a pay station.
