Some Broken Arrow Parents Concerned Over Re-Zoning That May Force Over 80 Students To Move To New Schools

More than 80 Broken Arrow elementary students might be moved to new schools for the next school year.

The school board is re-zoning part of the new area near Rosewood Elementary. Most of those kids are being moved to Vandever Elementary.

Some parents say they are worried about their kids because this is at least the third time they have been re-zoned.

School leaders say students currently in fourth and fifth grade will not be moved.

Any other transfer requests will have to go through the normal transfer process and are considered on a case-by-case basis.
