Report Shows OKC Rental Costs Dropping

A new report shows Oklahoma City renters are paying less for an apartment now than this time in 2022.

Nationwide, the poll also shows Oklahoma City had the second largest drop in rent in the country at 6.2%.

Phoenix, Arizona saw the largest drop at 6.7%.

Experts said increased vacancy rates, newer inventory and a cooling housing market have caused the decline.
