Tulsa Police Arrest Woman For 5th Time In Last 3 Months

A woman who police call a career criminal who is under house arrest is in custody again.

Tulsa Police said Melissa Sweet busted the back window of a car in an underground parking garage at the River Spirit Casino on Oct. 1.

Court documents state she stole a purse and cell phone and took off in a truck with another suspect.

Police say she tried to buy some gift cards with the victim's debit card but the card was declined.

This is the fifth time Sweet has been arrested in the past three months.

She's already facing more than 20 charges and has been under house arrest in connection to those cases.
