The weekend is here and of course it's holiday season, so there is a lot going on for you and the family if you want to get out over the next few days.

Glow on the Green is happening this weekend at Guthrie Green with a special lights on ceremony.
Our own Chief Meterologist Travis Meyer will be turning on the light Friday, Dec. 1 at 8 p.m., but the fun starts even earlier.
Glow on the Green is from 6 to 9 p.m. and you can enjoy live music, free photos with Santa, a holiday market, and more
The University of Tulsa will be holding its big event from 5:30 until 8 p.m. This was re-scheduled from Thursday night due to the weather.
TU said it'll be turning on one million blue and white lights.
There is free parking at 8th and Harvard and admission is free. TU said everyone is welcome.
Kringle's Christmas Land near 125th and Elm in Jenks will also have a lights on Friday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m.
The event is at a home in a neighborhood just off Elm. The owner Ben Sumner brings out his award-winning lights display and even transforms his garage into its own winter wonderland.
You can drive by the lights or walk up on the sidewalk for a closer look.
After Friday's lights on, Kringle's Christmas Land will be open every night from 6 until 10 p.m. until the end of December.
The Yuletide Market at the Tulsa Farmer's Market is a special holiday setup happening alongside the normal farmers market at Admiral and Lewis in Tulsa between 8:30 a.m. and noon on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Santa will be there starting at 10 a.m., and you can hear a performance from carolers from the Tulsa opera at 11 a.m.
Christkindlemarket starts Dec. 1 in Tulsa. The holiday event is inspired by Christmas markets in Germany.
It runs today through Sunday, Dec. 3 inside the German American Society of Tulsa Event Center near 15th and Lewis and admission is free.
In Glenpool, there is a big parade and tree lighting happening on Sunday, Dec. 3.
The parade starts at 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
There will be festivities like tree decorating, caroling, and carriage rides that begin at 4:30 p.m. The big tree lighting is at 6:30 p.m.
