Tulsa Women Defeat UAB 84-72 For 19th Win This Season

Tulsa's Temira Poindexter led the way with 30 as the Golden Hurricane took down UAB Wednesday night at the Reynolds Center.

With the win, Tulsa improved to 19-8 (9-5 AAC) and now moves to second place in the conference.

Poindexter went 9/16 with 5 three-pointers and shot 7/7 at the free-throw line.

Delanie Crawford had 17 points and 10 rebounds while Mady Cartwright scored 13.

Next game is Sunday at 2 p.m. against South Florida.
