Man In Custody Accused Of Abuse On 5-Year-Old

Tulsa Police arrested a man who has been sent to prison multiple times in the past six years for child abuse.

Police say Cody Summers threw the 5-year-old into a wall, which broke the child's arm.

Court records show DHS got involved after the victim was absent from school around the time of the injury.

Court records show Summers has several previous felony convictions including domestic assault and battery and domestic assault and battery by strangulation,

He was arrested and accused of child abuse by injury complaint and another failing to register as a violent offender.
