Bill could pave the way for Cushing refinery

More oil refineries might help against higher gas prices. Many believe Cushing is the perfect spot to build one because a number of major pipelines intersect there.
Oklahoma Congressman John Sullivan says a bill passed by a House Committee could help pave the way for a new refinery in Cushing. The Gasoline for America's Security Act would ease air pollution control rules on refineries, and it would shorten deadlines for issuing permits.
The bill now goes to the full House.
