A federal judge threw out some lawsuits against the City of Tulsa this week, which stemmed from the black officers' discrimination suit.

The city's attorney told News on 6 reporter Lori Fullbright that two black officers had sued for wrongful termination, both those cases were dismissed. The judge also dismissed a number of discrimination claims filed by six other black officers.

However, the judge did not dismiss some of their claims concerning a hostile work environment and will hold a trial for those on June 21st.
