Highway 266 Narrows Monday For Verdigris River Bridge Work

You may want to avoid Oklahoma 266 near the Verdigris River bridge in the coming days.

Starting Monday, the highway will be narrowed down to one lane while crews work on the deteriorating bridge, just north of the Port of Catoosa.

A temporary traffic light will be put in place, to allow east and westbound traffic to take turns crossing through the work zone.

The project should wrap up in the fall.
