Earthquake Recorded Near Payne County

The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 3.9 magnitude earthquake near Payne County.

The earthquake was recorded at 3:08 a.m. Saturday morning six miles southeast of Perkins, Oklahoma in Payne County, 47 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.

There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
