TULSA, Oklahoma - Ahead of his concert at Tulsa’s BOK Center, a popular musician made a surprise appearance at a Tulsa high school.

While in town, Justin Bieber surprised students at Central High School Thursday afternoon.

While there, the musician played songs and sang with the choir and orchestra students. He also made a donation to the arts.

On his Twitter page, Bieber teased he was doing something special in town, but never said what.

Spokesman for the district, Chris Payne, said the students were unaware of the appearance and were “totally shocked.”

Radio Disney taped some footage with the students that will air during the Radio Disney Awards on April 30.

The surprise appearance was ahead of Bieber’s concert at the BOK Center where police are expecting over 12,000 fans to pack the streets around the center.
