TULSA, Oklahoma - A big building is going up along the Broken Arrow Expressway and in a few months, Tulsa's only climbing gym will be open.

You might have seen the climb Tulsa building if you've driven in the area of 32nd and Yale. News On 6 got a look inside the 18,000 square foot climbing gym.

Filmmaker Jason Burks loves to climb and in a few months his gym Climb Tulsa will open its doors.

Every inch of the space has been modeled after Jason's experiences climbing around the world.

The walls have been shipped in from Bulgaria, designed by one of the best rock wall builders in the world.

There will be roped and "unroped" opportunities and an area for children.

"There's some people doing it really well but the bar hasn't been set that high and I feel like it was the opportunity to do best in class and do everything the best way it could be done. I think climbing is one of those things that people don't know they love until they've done it and so if you don't have the availability of a climbing wall then you don’t know if you like it,” said Burks.

Burks hopes to open the doors to Climb Tulsa sometime in June.
