Antiques Roadshow Visits Tulsa
TULSA, Oklahoma - The Philbrook Museum hosted the long-running PBS series "Antiques Roadshow" on Saturday. Appraisers got a taste of Oklahoma as thousands showed up to find out the value of their items on the Emmy-winning series.
"I saw some land deeds, circa 1900, 1902, that was given to a Muscogee tribe member back then when they were given land grants, about 160 acres each. And it's still in her family,” said Executive Producer Marsha Bemko "I learned a lot about how that land works here and so will the rest of the nation when it airs.
This is the third time the roadshow has made a stop in Tulsa with the most recent being in 2011. The episodes shot Saturday will air sometime in 2019 as a part of the programs 23rd season.
