Sheriff's deputies in Logan County made an unexpected drug arrest while responding to a report of a stabbing at a home in Orlando, Okla. on Friday.
The deputies were called out to investigate a stabbing in the 300 block of Cherokee Ave. on Friday. When they arrived they located a car that was reported to be the suspect's vehicle, but did not see any stabbing victims.
The deputies then made entry into the home where they detected the odor of marijuana. They also found three people, two females and one male, inside of the home. All three individuals were detained and a search warrant was served on the home.
During a search investigators found marijuana, a substance believed to be methamphetamine, other drug paraphernalia and a number of firearms.
So far only the male, identified as 45-year-old Matthew Collins, has been arrested on felony drug and weapons charges. However, charges on the other two women, who have not yet been identified, are pending.
