The United States Geological Survey reported two earthquakes in Grant County.
A 3.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, four miles south of Medford and 24 miles north, northeast of Enid. The depth was over three miles.
Then at 10:22 a.m. Sunday, a 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded 11 miles southwest of Medford and 20 miles north of Enid. The depth was over one mile.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
