Police Release Name Of Mother Found Dead By Children In SW OKC

Police release the identity of a mother found dead inside her southwest Oklahoma City home.

Investigators say Rosalba Valdez –Reyonosa, 27, was found by her children Friday, January 3 inside their home located in the 5000 block of S. Broadway Place.

Police say Valdez-Reyonosa's three children, ages three, eight and 11, were inside the home. They woke up around 7:30 a.m. to find their mother was unresponsive. The children called a family member who then called 911.

Police say the death is being investigated as a homicide. An exact cause of death hasn't been released yet. The three children remain in DHS custody until family members arrive.
