Ingredients
1 package of Collared or Mixed Greens
1 onion, chopped
2 cups chicken broth
4 slices thick cut bacon
salt and pepper
2 tablespoon brown sugar
red pepper, optional for a little heat
ham bone
Instructions
In a large pot, sauté the bacon and onion until tender. Add the collared greens, ham bone, salt and pepper, and brown sugar. Put the lid on and cook at a slow simmer for 1.5 hours. Serve with black eyed peas!
