Today the Supreme Court ruled that married same-sex couples were entitled to federal benefits the same as married heterosexual couples. It's a landmark ruling, and a lot of you wrote in about it.
Rob first: "Just another snub by the liberals."
Mary says: "God bless the SCOTUS!!!!!!!"
Peggy writes: "I am ecstatic about it and feel freer than I have felt in my adult life, unfettered by the stigma of those who would keep me as a second class citizen."
From Stephen: "It's about time. This is about civil rights."
But Julie says: "Makes me sad for my grandchildren that our country has gone so far from what we were founded on."
And Paula adds: "It is our place as Christians to stand up for God's word not roll over and play dead."
Kaylee writes: "Everyone should marry who they want for love, not because a bunch of bible thumpers want to tell people what to do."
From Brent: "I don't like it. We are headed in a very dangerous direction in this country."
John says: "The fact that four Supreme Court Justices voted against this ruling is what's disgusting."
Finally Michelle writes: "They don't make the law, or they shouldn't be allowed to, but we the people just abdicate our rights to them."
