Thoughts on Saturday's visit to Texas Tech:

1) OU's defense usually defends Leach's Pirates as well as anybody even when they have world-class QB's. They don't this year, and the Sooners "D" is better than norman...i.e. Tech may have a hard time lighting up the scoreboard.

2) There is no doubt that something will go sideways in Lubbock. It always does. A bad call. An injury. Whatever takes place you can't get rattled. Easier said than done for an offense that has proven to be very rattle-able this season.

3) The key to winning Saturday...score an unconventional touchdown. Either a special teams or defensive score. If they do they will win.

4) I'm filling up a jacket pocket with guacamole just in case I catch a flying tortilla.

Prediction: Ryan Broyles takes a punt to the house...OU-24, TT-17
