SULPHUR, Oklahoma – The application process has started for Wall-e, the puppy who survived euthanasia.
Those that requested adoption applications will be receiving paperwork soon and then the shelter will go over the applications. The adoption process will include reference and home checks.
The shelter said they received almost 3,000 people interested in adopting Wall-e, the dog who survived euthanasia and whose story went viral online. The shelter said while they are grateful for the interest in Wall-e, they have many other dogs who are also waiting on a home.
The shelter said "We hope you all will consider the other dogs who truly do need saving at this time and not just Wall-e."
