OKLAHOMA CITY-- Police said kidnappers picked up the wrong man outside a home near N.W. 33rd Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.
The man told police two men pulled up to the home and forced him into a car at gunpoint. When the kidnappers realized they had the wrong man, they dropped him off a few blocks down the street.
"They explained to him it was a case of mistaken identity, and he was dropped off at the 7-11 without the subjects harming him," said Oklahoma City Police Lt. Chris Gayhart.
Police are still searching for the kidnappers, who were last seen driving a four-door, older model, gold or tan Lincoln.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
