SHAWNEE, Oklahoma -- On Friday afternoon, the father of an allegedly abused little girl called NEWS 9 to give his side of the story.
The 24-year-old says he will be cleared of these accusations if the case goes to court, and he said while he isn't the best parent out there, he loves his child and tries his best.
"There is no abuse. I have nothing to hide. I didn't do anything wrong," he said.
NEWS 9 has agreed not to identify Breanne's father since he hasn't been charged with a crime.
He did go on to explain the marks that Breanne has on her face and body.
"She was pushing a mobile toy and she fell on it," he said.
Breanne's father also said his doctor has agreed to testify on his behalf that the injuries are consistent with his story and went on to say that some of the bruises were put there by Misty, Breanne's mother.
"I've also filed a police report on her," he said. "She's called DHS on me several times and each time they've come to my home they didn't find anything. She cries wolf."
