Nice and warm this weekend. If you want to be outside, I feel like today will be better than tomorrow simply because of the wind. Winds today will be light compared to tomorrow, when wind gusts from 40 to 50 mph are expected.
Highs will be much warmer tomorrow and fire danger will, once again, jump into the extreme category. Fire will not have much trouble starting and spreading tomorrow afternoon.
Leap all the way to Wednesday, the 2nd of April, and we introduce a threat for severe weather for most of the state. We're watching closely to see how everything adds up here, but factors are coming together to bring the possibility of severe storms. The primary threats will be large hail and damaging wind, but there will be a low-end tornado threat as well.
Enjoy the weekend and stay with News 9.
