A quick moving storm system will bring one more round of snow to the Sooner State Monday evening, through the overnight, and into Tuesday morning. At this time, snow totals appear higher in northern Oklahoma.
Snow in the panhandle Monday afternoon will move into northwestern Oklahoma later this evening with 1-3" accumulations possible. Roads will become slick and hazardous through the night into the Tuesday morning commute. High temperatures will only rise into the upper 20s Tuesday afternoon, so roads will stay slick until temperatures rise above freezing Wednesday afternoon.
The best opportunity for snow in Oklahoma City, and all of central Oklahoma, will arrive overnight into early Tuesday morning, impacting the commute. Amounts in central Oklahoma will range from a dusting in some areas to about an inch locally. Again, higher amounts are expected as you go north.
The system will exit the state late Tuesday morning into early tomorrow afternoon. Highs will stay just below freezing Tuesday before rising into the 40s Wednesday afternoon.
