Drumright Woman Celebrates 108th Birthday

An Oklahoma woman who has seen most of our state's history celebrated another big birthday on Monday.

Ardis Watson turned 108 April 1. She's lived at the Drumright nursing home for the past few years but before that - the retired school teacher traveled to every continent except Antarctica.

"When we first got her, she could tell you stories about where she went, like in Japan, and the cherry blossoms she's seen," said nurse Trena McEwen.
