On Tuesday, voters will choose from eight candidates, who will get a spot on the Tulsa school board. Three of the candidates, Kyle Wagner, Brenda Barre and Scott Carter, attended a forum sponsored by the Oklahoma Eagle newspaper.
They faced questions about school consolidation and how that was handled on the west side, and none thought it was handled well.
Each of the candidates also talked about how the district could focus more on teachers and classroom needs - instead of big programs and the central office.
The winner of the election gets a four-year term.
