Gathering Place NOLA Night Postponed

According to a participating band, the event has been postponed to an undetermined date and time.

The Dirty Dozen Brass Band posted this onto the Facebook event page Thursday afternoon.

The park also posted on its Facebook page that the event has been canceled and they are working on rescheduling the event.

Tulsa's Gathering Place is holding a New Orleans-themed event that promises to bring the best of the Big Easy to Riverside.

Gathering Place says "NOLA Night" will bring music, food, and entertainment inspired by New Orleans culture right to the QuikTrip Great Lawn this Friday the 21st at 6.pm.

Musical acts include Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Dumpstaphunk among others. 

"The Dirty Dozen Brass Band pours flavor and soul into their jazz-funk music, creating a sound as sweet as beignets! Gathering Place cannot wait to share this Cajun crew with Tulsa for our First ever NOLA Night," said the Gathering Place website.
