Police said Shane Anderson was killed in front of his wife and two daughters.
Sergeant Dave Walker with Tulsa Police said Anderson came out of his bedroom and saw a stranger with a gun. He said Anderson “gets in a struggle with Green, and Green shoots. He continues to struggle with Green until he collapsed.”
After Anderson's murder, police searched the neighborhood and found an elderly couple who said Green broke into their house an hour earlier.
Police say he fired shots in the house to make the point that he'd kill them if they called the police.
Police say Green is on video at Arvest Bank, forcing the couple to use their ATM card before they returned to the house and Green went around the corner to where the murder happened.
Green was charged with murder, two counts of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of first-degree burglary, two counts of possession of a firearm after juvenile adjudication, four counts of robbery with a firearm, rape by instrumentation, attempted cruelty to animals, kidnapping, feloniously pointing of a firearm, sexual battery and second-degree burglary.
