A team of volunteers from St. John Health System traveled to Haiti Sunday to help those affected by Hurricane Matthew.
The group of six are going as part of "In His Image International," which is a medical non-profit.
Part of Haiti was devastated by Hurricane Matthew, killing more than 1,000 and leveling entire communities.
"We're being told there are a lot of 'walking wounded' so to speak, a lot of injuries and wounds... Infections," said Dr. Dustin Cupp, who is leading the In His Image International effort.
The group said if you'd like to help, you don't have to travel all the way to Haiti.
They said you can donate money to a reputable organization working in the country.
