Hilldale Public Schools says they and the Muskogee Police Department are investigating an alleged sexual assault which occurred on its campus February 3.

In a news release on Saturday, the school district says after being notified of the alleged assault which occurred after school at the high school, they began an investigation and immediately contacted the Muskogee Police Department.

Hilldale Superintendent Dr. Kaylin Coody says the alleged incident reportedly involved two minor-aged students at the high school located on East Smith Ferry Road.

She went on to say student safety is a top priority at Hilldale and they are cooperating with police and will not comment any further about the incident until the investigations are complete.
