TPD Officer And His K9 Partner To Take Plunge For Special Olympics

For the first time in Oklahoma, a Tulsa Police officer and his K9 partner are planning to jump into some very cold water later this month for a good cause. 

Officer Jack Pike and K9 officer Draco are raising money for Special Olympics Oklahoma.  They and other law enforcement officers are taking part in the Tulsa Polar Plunge at Safari Joe's H20 on February 27.  

The Polar Plunge is an annual event and each participant Is collecting donations for Special Olympics. Officer Pike says you can make a donation online or send a check to:

Officer Pike says this fundraiser is very personnel for him as his daughter is a Special Olympic athlete and has been for over 25 years.  

You are also invited to attend the 11 a.m. event on February 27 at Safari Joe's H20 in Tulsa and watch.
