State Appeals Court Upholds Tulsa Murderer's Life Sentence

A Tulsa man convicted of killing an elderly couple in a March 2012 home invasion will remain in a state prison in Holdenville. 

The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals Tuesday upheld the life sentence for Tyrone Woodfork, 23. 

In 2014, a Tulsa County jury found Woodfork guilty in the rape and murder of 84-year-old Nancy Strait and the beating of her 90-year-old husband, Bob Strait. Bob Strait died in 2013.
