Some folks in Broken Arrow have been honored for their work to help keep BA Beautiful.
"A New Leaf" is an organization that uses work in horticulture to help folks with developmental disabilities learn life skills. Throughout the year, they help maintain the rose gardens in Broken Arrow.
They were honored Monday by "Keep Broken Arrow Beautiful."
"This is a time of year when we give gifts to people and thank people that are important in our lives," said Sharon Atcheson, Bring Back the Roses chairperson.
"We appreciate their contribution to the City of Broken Arrow. "
Keep Broken Arrow Beautiful says the biggest help that A New Leaf gives is braving the heat of summer to pull weeds out of the rose garden.
