A few businesses in north Tulsa are without power after a driver slammed into a utility pole early Sunday morning. It happened at 500 North Peoria.
No one saw the crash, but police believe it happened around 7 a.m. That's when they started getting intrusion alarms from nearby businesses that they say were caused by the power outage.
Public Service of Oklahoma will be replacing the pole after underground lines are marked. Expect some lane closures in the area as crews work on the damage.
Officers are looking for the owner of the Crown Victoria as no one was at the scene after the wreck.
