Annual 'Don't Bug Me' Flu Awareness Campaign Begins In Tulsa

Once again, Hillcrest Medical Center and the Tulsa Health Department are teaming up to raise awareness about the flu.

On Wednesday, they started the 11th annual “Don't Bug Me” flu prevention campaign for area elementary schools.

It was a packed house at Limestone elementary in Sand Springs for the kickoff. More than 100 students from area schools came together to see an interactive program presented by OSU-Tulsa students.

The 'Don't Bug Me” program is designed to teach elementary students how to prevent the spread of influenza.
