A new report shows the failed roll-out of the healthcare.gov website wasted hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars.
The non-partisan congressional investigation found the government agency overseeing the website used 62 different contracts since 2010 costing $840 million.
The report says the administration kept changing contractor requirements that were exacerbated by oversight gaps.
The report says $12.5 million was paid out to the contractor who failed to deliver a working system instead of holding them accountable.
They say the most egregious waste was the contract to fix the failed system has cost $175 million and counting.
