The Tulsa Drillers banged out three home runs and got stellar performances on the mound in a 4-0 shutout victory over Springfield Wednesday night.

Dallas Tarleton, Delta Cleary Jr. and Jayson Langels each hit a solo home run to lead the Drillers' offense. Tulsa scored its other run on a Springfield error in the seventh inning.

In addition to the long ball, Tulsa was backed by great pitching from starter Dan Houston and two relievers. Houston went five innings, giving up just two hits and zero walks while striking out five Cardinals. Reliever Kenny Roberts pitched three innings of one-hit ball before Cole White closed the door in the ninth inning.

Springfield starter Richard Castillo took the loss for the Cardinals, who advanced just one runner past second base all night.

Tulsa closes the month of July having won four of their past five games and travel to Northwest Arkansas on Thursday. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
