A man out for the evening in downtown Tulsa got into a fight, had his car stolen and was struck by a hit-and-run driver, according to Tulsa police.

Officer Lance Bond said authorities were dispatched to 2nd and Elgin in the Blue Dome District just after 2 a.m. on an auto-pedestrian accident call. Police soon learned there were three separate incidents that took place outside the Max Retropub.

Two groups of men got into a fight outside the club. Two of the fighters stole their opponent's Ford F150 and drove away. The car theft victim then walked across the street towards Back Alley Blues and was struck by a car whose driver then fled the scene, Bond said.

The car thief drove southbound on Elgin where he ran into another truck. He then abandoned the stolen truck and took off.

Police did not know the condition of the man who was struck by the hit-and-run driver.
