A 76-year-old man was arrested this week by the Wagoner County Sheriff's office after investigators say he burglarized a rural Porter home.
An eyewitness told investigators he spoke to Amos Leon Stockton as Stockton was taking things from a residence west of Porter on March 20.
According to Stockton, the homeowner said he could take the property, the witness said.
On Monday, Stockton was interviewed by authorities, who arrested him and obtained a search warrant.
Most of the stolen property -- including a vacuum cleaner, fishing poles, a generator and general household items -- was recovered, said Major Gary Handley of the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office.
