Tulsa Jury Recommends Life For Man Convicted Of Brutal Rape Of Elderly Woman

A Tulsa County jury recommended a life sentence, plus 100 years in prison for a man convicted of brutally raping an elderly Tulsa woman.

The victim, who is now 81-years-old, testified against Ralph Smith, who was found guilty of six charges, including rape, sodomy, and kidnapping.

Prosecutors say back in 2007, Ralph Smith asked the victim for a ride from a local casino, but the forced her to take him to buy drugs.

Afterwards, Smith forced the elderly woman to drive to a motel where he sexually assaulted her. He'll be sentenced in less than two weeks.
