TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa's flagship library is getting a makeover. To manage the makeover of the Central Library at 4th and Denver, the City-County Library Commission chose an architecture and interior design firm to incorporate the latest in library advancements.
"We will introduce new elements that will be fresh and of this time, and will be obviously different than the existing building, but we hope at the same time that we don't distract or destroy what is here already," Jeff Scherer, Meyer Scherer & Rockcastle.
The project will take two years to finish, but you can learn more about the plans now. Central Library is hosting a second community forum to share its plans at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the library.
