TULSA, Oklahoma -- The nation's second largest book store chain is closing for good. Borders first filed for bankruptcy protection back in February.
The company was hoping a buyer would step in and save the chain. That didn't happen so now it goes in to liquidation.

Borders has nearly 11,000 employees nationwide and still has a store open in Norman.
Two Borders stores in Tulsa shut down earlier this year.
