Thunder Signs Rookie Cole Aldrich

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Thunder announced they have reached a contract agreement with rookie center Cole Aldrich.

The former University of Kansas standout averaged 11.3 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game during his junior season -- earning Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year recognition. Aldrich was a member of the Jayhawks' 2008 NCAA Championship team.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
