LUBBOCK, Texas -- Oklahoma State could not complete the comeback against Texas Tech as the Cowboys fell 81-74 to the Red Raiders. OSU beat Tech 81-52 in Stillwater Jan. 9.

Keiton Page led the Cowboys with 22 points. Texas Tech held James Anderson, the nation's seventh-leading scorer (22.8 average), to 10 points, matching his season low. He fouled out with 5:02 left. Anderson had 28 points in the Cowboys' win over the Red Raiders in January.

The Red Raiders (15-7, 3-5) started the second half with a 13-4 run to go up 48-30 with about 15 minutes remaining. They had no turnovers in the first 10 minutes.

The Cowboys (16-7, 4-5) used an 18-7 run to pull within 63-57, and cut the deficit to 65-61 on two free throws by Ray Penn with 3:38 left but could get no closer.

Oklahoma State was hampered by foul trouble. Marshall Moses, Anderson and Matt Pilgrim fouled out. OSU coach Travis Ford received a technical foul late in the second half.

John Roberson finished with a game-high 28 points while Mike Singletary had 22 for the Red Raiders.
