OSBI Agents, Pittsburg County Deputies Bust Multi-County Theft Ring In Oklahoma

Deputies said Michael Ketchum, 35, stole an OSBI trailer around 4 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities found other items on his property that they believe were stolen from Seminole, Pittsburg, and Canadian counties.

PITTSBURG COUNTY, Oklahoma – Agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, along with Pittsburg County Sheriff's Deputies, busted a multi-county theft ring near McAlester Tuesday, the OSBI said.

Investigators said Michael Ketchum, 35, stole an OSBI trailer that was under surveillance around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Authorities served a search warrant on Ketchum's property north of McAlester and found other loot including 4-wheelers and vehicles. Deputies said they believe the items were stolen been stolen from Seminole, Pittsburg, and Canadian counties.

Ketchum was arrested for stealing the trailer and for manufacturing meth. He was booked into the Pittsburg County Jail.
