TULSA, Oklahoma -- Some Green Country teenagers spent all day Tuesday learning from some of their classmates.
Students went to Teen Recovery Day at Tulsa Community College.
Teenagers shared their stories of recovery from drug and alcohol abuse with others who are recovering.
They hope their experiences will encourage their peers to stay sober and stick with their treatment plan.
"I feel a lot better about myself. I have a lot more confidence and I don't feel so low. I have a higher self-esteem," Said Stormy Johnson, a Barttlesville student.
More than 150 middle and school students attended Recovery Day.
